Home Recording Studio & Hire

My home recording studio in Taff's Well, employs top quality software, hardware, virtual/traditional guitars and midi keyboards. I use the industry standard Avid Pro Tools recording software as my DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) which is used by most professional/commercial studios worldwide.

My guitar amplifier of choice is the Kemper Stage Profiler which is the closest way of simulating just about any tube amplifier worth mentioning with so many profiles being produced for stratocasters, telecasters and Les Pauls especially.

For virtual midi sounds, I turn to Native Instruments Kontakt 14 Ultimate for it's incredible range of sounds which I trigger through my M-Audio Keystation Pro 88 & Artura Keystep 32. EZD rummer 3 provides all my my sampled software drum sounds and is such a great bit of kit for providing superb drum grooves.

Although I use the studio mainly for writing and recording my own material, it is also available for students to record their own creative creations. It's a great way of learning the how to deal with the discipline of writing and recording which takes the level of 'listening' to another level.
